About our Specialist Resource Base Since opening in September 2023, our Specialist Resource Base (SRB) has become a beacon of inclusive excellence for children with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCP) whose primary need is SPLD (Specific Learning Difficulty).Located in the heart of our school, Comets is an expertly adapted space featuring its own sensory area and high-quality technology. The Role:

What You’ll Be Doing As a Teaching Assistant in our Resource Base, you won’t just be "supporting"—you will be an integral part of a child’s educational journey.

Deliver high-quality, bespoke learning experiences adapted from the National Curriculum.

Bridge the Gap:
Support children as they move between the specialist base and mainstream classes, ensuring they feel confident and included.

Focus on building the "skills, reason, and sensitivity" our children need to thrive.
