Nursery Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant with Early Years & Foundation Phase experience? Have you got an interest in supporting Nursery aged pupils? Hoop Education is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Nursery Nurses or Early Years Teaching Assistants to support nursery settings across the Cardiff area.

• Provide support to nursery pupils with additional learning needs
• Adapt learning activities to suit individual abilities and learning styles
• Encourage confidence, independence, and engagement in the classroom
• Support pupils with emotional and behavioural needs where required
• Assist with daily play routines and organisation
• Monitor and report on pupil progress and development
• Work closely with nursery teachers and other support staff to encourage learning

• Experience in nurseries, childcare, or support work
• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Relevant qualifications or training are beneficial but not essential
