Looking for flexible work within education? Aspire People is currently recruiting Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools across Cardiff during upcoming examination periods.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking part-time, flexible work and would suit those with experience in schools, administration, customer service, youth work, or anyone looking to gain valuable experience within the education sector.
The RoleAs an Exam Invigilator, you will help ensure examinations are conducted in accordance with regulations and that students are able to complete their exams in a calm, fair, and secure environment.
Responsibilities include:- Setting up examination rooms and materials
- Supervising students before, during, and after examinations
- Ensuring exam regulations are followed at all times
- Distributing and collecting examination papers
- Maintaining accurate attendance records
- Reporting any issues or irregularities to the Exams Officer
- Assisting with the smooth running of the examination process
- Reliable, punctual, and professional individuals
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately
- A calm and organised approach
- Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable or willingness to obtain one
- £16.11 per hour
