Lecturer - A Level Psychology

A lecturer post teaching A Level Psychology at Coleg Gwent. The work centres on delivering the subject to a high standard, while helping to develop resources, support teaching programmes and shape the curriculum. It is set on a 37-hour week, and applications may be made in Welsh on equal terms. Candidates need prior teaching experience in a school or college and must hold, or be working towards, a teaching qualification.

• Deliver A Level Psychology to a high standard
• Assist in developing teaching resources
• Support teaching programmes
• Assist in developing the curriculum

• Teaching qualification held or working towards, such as a PGCE, to be achieved within a set period

• EWC registration

• Teaching experience within a school or college

• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible approach to working
• Working as part of a team

• Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check

• Basic Welsh language ability, or willingness to train
