I’m working in partnership with a successful and fast-growing civil engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint an experienced Civil Engineer to strengthen its team.

This opportunity is open to candidates based in Bridgend, Cardiff or Bristol, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement, typically 2–3 days per week in the office.

If you’re a civil engineer with 3+ years’ UK experience who enjoys development-led projects, taking real ownership of your work, and working within a consultancy that offers a grown-up and flexible approach, this role presents a genuinely strong career move.

The Role

Deliver civil engineering design for residential and commercial developments
Contribute to projects from early planning stages through to detailed design and delivery
Work closely with Principal Engineers and liaise with external stakeholders
Take increasing responsibility for project ownership and technical development

What They’re Looking For

Minimum of 3 years’ UK civil engineering experience
Strong background in infrastructure and drainage design for developments
Experience producing highways designs
Proficient in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience would be an advantage)
Comfortable working collaboratively while managing your own workload

What’s on Offer

Salary of £50,000 – £55,000, dependent on experience
Hybrid working model – 2–3 days in the office, remainder from home
