We’re working with a top-tier consultancy who are growing their Cardiff team with the addition of a Civil Engineer.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong foundation in drainage and highways, with the ambition to grow in a highly supportive, design-led environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Designing levels, drainage, SuDS, highways, and external works for a wide range of building-led developments
Working on residential, commercial, regeneration, and public sector schemes
Producing detailed designs and submission packages for S278, S38, S104, S185, SAB approvals, and more
Creating earthworks models, technical reports, condition surveys, and drainage strategies
Coordinating with architects, design teams, contractors, and approving authorities
Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to project reviews and delivery
Taking part in client meetings, site visits, and team collaboration sessions

What We’re Looking For:

Degree-qualified with consultancy experience in infrastructure or civil design
Comfortable working across drainage, highways, and 3D modelling
Proficient with AutoCAD and Info Drainage – experience with Civil 3D a bonus
Confident communicator with a collaborative mindset and attention to detail
Good understanding of industry guidance and approvals (SAB, S278, S104 etc.)
Someone who thrives in a design-led, multi-disciplinary environment
