Senior Structural Engineer - Industrial Projects

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering consultancy for a Senior Chartered Structural Engineer with a strong background in large-scale industrial big shed projects.

If you’re experienced in the design and delivery of industrial buildings—such as logistics hubs, warehouses, and energy facilities—this is a fantastic opportunity to work on major, complex schemes.

• Lead the structural design of industrial shed and infrastructure building projects
• Oversee detailed analysis and design using modern software and engineering codes
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, geotechnical, MEP, etc.)
• Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and sustainability standards
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers
• Contribute to project planning, reporting, and client meetings

• Chartered Engineer status - IStruct
  
  E or ICE – or near
• 5–6 years' experience in structural engineering, with a focus on industrial buildings
• Proven track record delivering similar projects (e.g., logistics, warehouses, energy sector)
• Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Buildings-focused background/experience
