An established and growing structural engineering consultancy in Cardiff is seeking a Structural CAD Technician to join its busy and expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Structural CAD Technician looking to work on a diverse range of projects within a supportive and professional environment.

The Role

As a Structural CAD Technician, you will be responsible for producing accurate structural drawings and technical detailing for projects across the residential, commercial, industrial, education, and healthcare sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing structural drawings using AutoCAD.
Producing general arrangement, reinforcement, and steelwork detailing drawings.
Working closely with structural engineers and project teams throughout the design process.
Assisting with drawing revisions and project coordination.
Ensuring drawings are produced to company and industry standards.

The Candidate

The successful Structural CAD Technician will possess:

Previous experience within a structural engineering consultancy.
Strong AutoCAD skills and a good understanding of structural detailing.
Knowledge of steel, reinforced concrete, timber, and masonry construction.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
