Joining a collaborative and highly respected multidisciplinary team, you'll have the opportunity to shape the direction of the Structures team while leading a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple sectors. This is a genuine leadership role, offering autonomy to develop client relationships, mentor and grow the team, manage resources and oversee project delivery from concept through to completion. You'll work closely with senior leadership, influence business development activities and help drive the continued expansion of the Cardiff office.
We're looking for a confident and experienced Structural Engineer who is ready to take ownership of a team and become a key figure within the business. You'll combine strong technical expertise with excellent leadership and communication skills, enabling you to successfully manage projects, develop client relationships and support the professional growth of your team.

What You Need To Succeed
Significant structural engineering experience within a UK consultancy environment.
Proven experience leading structural engineering projects from concept through to completion.
Previous experience managing or mentoring engineers and coordinating team resources.
Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain lasting professional relationships.
Experience in the design of a range of structural materials, including steel, concrete, masonry and timber.
Proficiency in industry-standard structural analysis and design software.
Excellent communication, organisational and commercial awareness with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Chartered Engineer status with the IStructE/ICE, or close to achieving it.
A strong academic background with a BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering
