Are you a multi-disciplined maintenance engineer looking for a varied and challenging role in a dynamic organisation? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our maintenance team.
We are seeking an individual with strong organisation skills and expertise in fault finding to ensure the smooth operation of our workshop equipment across our sites.
As a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Electrical & Mechanical maintenance across the whole site
- Supporting the engineering department with delivery timely close out of PPM schedule
- Attending to breakdowns onsite ensuring that there is always a rapid response, and that equipment and machinery breakdown time is minimised. Always endeavour to reduce downtime of site plant and machinery
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues to minimise downtime
- Looking for opportunities to continuously improve machine performance
- Delivering effective communications within department
- Ensuring compliance with safety measures / regulations
- Ensuring lock out tag out methodology is put in to practice where applicable
