MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer to join a modern Energy from Waste facility in Cardiff.

This role will involve leading the electrical, control and instrumentation maintenance function, ensuring maximum plant availability, planning and delivering maintenance activities, and supervising a team of technicians within a highly regulated process environment.

As an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Leading the Electrical, Control & Instrumentation maintenance function across the Energy from Waste plant.
Planning, coordinating and delivering preventative and reactive maintenance activities to maximise plant availability.
Managing planned outages and supporting unplanned shutdowns to minimise downtime.
Maintaining and fault-finding on HV/LV electrical systems, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), instrumentation and associated plant equipment.
Supervising Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians, apprentices and specialist contractors.
