  • Undertaking and checking economic appraisals to assist the design of Flood Alleviation Schemes, deliver Flood Risk Assessments and conduct reservoir flood studies
  • Preparing business cases to secure funding for Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Grant in Aid
  • Conceptualisation and scoping of hydraulic modelling approaches
  • Producing and checking high quality reports for clients
  • Mentoring/training junior staff in the overall process of helping clients manage and adapt to flooding, from scoping to delivery, helping them to see the bigger picture, and providing guidance in identifying opportunities and risks in programme, consenting, construction and maintenance
  • Alongside your technical role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in project management and lead business development through engaging with our clients.
