Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm & Friday 8:30am-2:30pm

gap personnel Cardiff, are recruiting for a Project Manager based in Cardiff. This is a specialist engineering company based in Cardiff with a proud heritage in rail vehicle maintenance, refurbishment and overhaul.

Operating from a purpose-built facility in Cardiff, able to provide comprehensive services including vehicle overhauls, heavy maintenance, component repairs and system upgrades. The site is equipped with heavy lifting equipment, dedicated workshops and testing facilities, enabling the delivery of full turnkey solutions for rail fleets.

What we are looking for:

• Previous PM experience.
• Somebody that can work at their own initiative.
• Somebody who has PEP experience.
• Somebody that can demonstrate good customer experience.
• Somebody that has experience in managing a C4/C6 project (only for one of the roles).
• Rail industry background for one of the roles and transferable skills for the other one.
• Somebody that has a project manager qualification or similar.

What you'll will be doing:

• See the lifecycle of the project from start to finish
• Ensure that mobilisation for a project is in place
• Produce the project execution plans to ensure visibility of the project
• Manage customer expectations
• Be the first point of contact for customers
• Undertake contract reviews with customers
• Provide updates via meetings, reports.
