We're partnering with a global technology leader that develops market-leading connected devices used by millions of customers worldwide. As the business continues to expand its product portfolio and invest heavily in innovation, they're seeking an Electronics Engineer to join their growing engineering team in South Wales.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex electronic systems from concept through to mass production, working alongside world-class hardware, software and product teams to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions.

The Opportunity

As a key member of the engineering team, you'll be involved in the design, development, validation and optimisation of sophisticated electronic products. You'll play a critical role in bringing new technologies to market, solving complex technical challenges and driving product performance, reliability and compliance.

Working across the full product lifecycle, you'll collaborate with internal stakeholders, manufacturing partners and component suppliers to ensure products are delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and validate electronic circuits and systems for new product development.
  • Create schematics and PCB designs using industry-standard design tools.
  • Evaluate prototypes, identify design improvements and support product optimisation.
  • Perform hardware debugging, root cause analysis and failure investigations.
  • Develop and execute validation and verification plans.
  • Conduct laboratory testing and performance analysis.
  • Support EMC compliance testing and product certification activities.
  • Build and test prototype hardware for proof-of-concept and development activities.
  • Work closely with software, product and manufacturing teams throughout development.
  • Produce technical documentation, reports and engineering recommendations.
What We're Looking For
  • Degree-qualified in Electronics Engineering, Physics or a related discipline.
  • Significant commercial experience in electronics design and development.
  • Proven experience delivering products through the complete development lifecycle, from concept through to production.
  • Strong schematic capture and PCB design experience using Altium Designer or similar tools.
  • Experience with EMC testing and compliance requirements.
  • Background in high-speed and high-density circuit design.
  • Strong laboratory testing, troubleshooting and failure analysis skills.
  • Experience building and validating prototype systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
