Service Engineer
- Industries:
Specialise in Automated Storage Systems across a range of industries including Aerospace, Pharma, Logistics and Manufacturing - Looking for Engineers who have an Electrical Qualification and can experience in any of the following equipment - Automated Storage/Storage Systems, Carousels, Conveyors, Lifts, Hydraulics, PLC’s, Motors, Bearings, Drives, Inventory Control, Material Handling Equipment
- Location:
Northern Ireland - Salary:
Up to £40,000 - Hours:
8:00am – 4:30pm (Monday – Friday) - No on-call rota + Christmas shut down
- German Manufacturing – direct training with the manufacturer on-site in Germany
- Training – on automated systems, with incremental salary increases on completion of each training module of £1500 (£4,500 total)

A leading provider of automated vertical storage and retrieval systems is seeking a technically skilled and self-motivated Service Engineer to join its Northern Ireland Field Service Team. Mainly covering the South of Northern Ireland (Newry, Markethill, Keady, My, Moygashel, Dungannon, Newtownhamilton, Ravensdale etc) with occasional travel into Ireland. This role offers autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to work with cutting‑edge automation technology.
Key Responsibilities- Perform fault finding, servicing, maintenance and repairs on vertical lift and carousel systems
- Respond to breakdowns and callouts, ensuring fast and effective resolution
- Provide technical support and training to customers
- Maintain accurate service documentation and reports
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of both mechanical and electrical fault finding – ideally with similar equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Northern Ireland - Excellent communication and time management skills
- Up to £40,000 salary + incremental salary increases
