** What you’ll be doing
** Join our 132kV Field Operations team and play a key role in delivering major network investment projects across the SP Manweb licence area. As a Senior Engineer (Commissioning), you'll lead the testing, commissioning and energisation of 132kV and 33kV assets, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with SP Energy Networks standards.
* Carry out Senior Authorised Person (SAP) duties on 132kV and 33kV networks
* Test, commission and energise protection and control systems
* Support the safe delivery of capital projects to agreed time, cost and quality targets
* Work closely with Project Managers, contractors and delivery partners
* Lead commissioning activities, including switching programmes and asset energisation
* Provide coaching and mentoring to trainees and apprentices
* Conduct quality assurance assessments following project completion
* Support standby and emergency response activities as required
* Travel across the SP Manweb network area, including occasional overnight stays
** What You'll Bring
*** HNC, HND or Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience
* Current 132kV and 33kV Senior Authorised Person status, or advanced progress towards authorisation
* Strong knowledge of HV protection, control and commissioning activities
* Experience working on 132kV and 33kV network infrastructure
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams
* Full UK driving licence
** Minimum Criteria
*** Engineering HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent experience
* Current 132kV and 33kV SAP authorisation, or advanced stage of development towards authorisation
* Significant experience of 132kV and 33kV networks
* Full UK driving licence
