This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in 20 days at 23:59 BST.

Wales Millennium Centre is looking for a passionate and organised Creative Development Producer to join our Arts and Engagement team and play a central role in supporting artists and the creation of new work through Forge
, our artist development programme.

Through Forge, we support Welsh and Wales-based artists to develop their practice, test new ideas and create ambitious work. We believe creativity flourishes when artists have the time, space and support to take risks, challenge convention and imagine new possibilities.

As Creative Development Producer, you will help make this happen.

Working closely with our Senior Producer, you will coordinate day-to-day delivery supporting artists across three programme strands:

• Develop your Practice
• Develop your Idea
• Develop your Project

From managing open calls and artist communications to coordinating budgets, schedules and programme activity, you'll help ensure artists receive an outstanding experience throughout their engagement with Wales Millennium Centre. You'll also help strengthen relationships across Wales' creative sector, connecting artists with mentors, partners and opportunities that support their development.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the future of artistic talent in Wales while working alongside colleagues in our Creative Technology and Storytelling team, exploring how new forms of creativity, storytelling and emerging technologies can support artists and audiences alike.

We're looking for someone who combines excellent organisational skills with a genuine passion for artist development.

You might currently work in producing, project management, artist development, creative programmes or cultural partnerships. Most importantly, you'll understand what artists need to thrive and be excited by the opportunity to create environments where creativity can flourish.

• Experience working with artists, creative practitioners or the development of new work
• Strong project coordination and administration skills including managing budgets, schedules and project plans
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills and a collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving
• The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• A commitment to inclusion, accessibility and supporting diverse creative voices
• Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential.

Your role may be subject to a DBS check
