The Person al Tax Assistant Manager will support the tax department in managing personal tax compliance and advisory work. This role is based in Cardiff for a Top-20 firm.

• Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Prepare and review personal tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide tax advisory services, including planning and mitigation strategies.
• Act as the first point of contact for client queries, offering professional advice and guidance.
• Assist with HMRC enquiries and correspondence on behalf of clients.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to deliver a seamless service to clients.
• Ensure that all work is completed within deadlines and to the highest standard.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and share knowledge with the team.

• Professional qualifications in tax or accountancy, such as ATT, CTA, or ACCA.
• Strong knowledge of personal tax regulations and compliance processes.
• Experience in managing a portfolio of personal tax clients.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in tax software and related IT systems.
• A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all work.
