We’re currently looking to hire a Transfer Agency Oversight Analyst to join L&G Asset Management.
You'll assist the Transfer Agency Oversight team in overseeing external Transfer Agents across UK and European funds in the Asset Management division of L&G by undertaking control activities, due diligence, process enhancements and supplier management activities.
What you’ll be doing :- Assisting in the resolution of daily and periodic business‑related issues with third‑party Transfer Agency relationships
- Resolving operational issues and initiatives, including the late dealing authorisation process, while ensuring key stakeholders receive a service that meets expectations
- Maintaining, promoting and encouraging good avenues of communication between L&G Asset Management and primary third‑party administration providers to support automation, risk reduction and best practice
- Rectifying anomalies and resolving business issues to ensure a high level of customer service
- Representing the team and department in a professional, collaborative and commercially aware manner, developing strong working relationships with internal and external parties
- Working collaboratively with managers and vendors to foster credibility and influence, building a reputation for operational excellence across the firm
- Producing insightful and meaningful management information reporting to highlight trends, analysis and errors
- Delivering oversight of projects, including migrations and transitions
- A good understanding of supplier relationships, contracts and Service Level Agreements
- Good understanding and experience of all aspects of Investment Management with particular focus on transfer agency experience
- Good knowledge of the FCA Collective Investment Schemes Source book and Conduct of Business Source book
- Ability to create and understand MI to make suggestions on improving our service to enhance the customers experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers and suppliers
- Ability to own problems and resolve issues quickly in a way that treats customers fairly and protects the business
- Ability to confidently make decisions based on evaluation of risks and using all available information
- Good influencing and persuasive skills
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and promote them via creative and innovative solutions
