Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain and improve financial models to support budgets, forecasts and long‑term financial planning.
  • Provide analysis, insight and scenario modelling that helps the business understand financial performance and future risks.
  • Ensure models and reporting are accurate, transparent and aligned with regulatory, Treasury and internal requirements.
  • Translate financial and operational data into clear reporting, dashboards and commentary for senior stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Finance Business Partners, Regulation, Treasury and operational teams to ensure strong alignment and shared understanding of key drivers.
  • Support continuous improvement across modelling, systems, data flows and reporting processes.
  • Be comfortable starting from a blank sheet and forming your own analytical approach, rather than relying solely on pre‑defined templates or established outputs.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience in an analytical finance role with proven success in building financial models and creating insightful management reporting.
  • Experience with tools like Excel, Power BI or other analytics platforms (or a willingness to learn).
  • Enjoys developing analysis where there is no established template or benchmark.
  • Comfortable applying judgement to assess whether outputs are sensible and decision‑ready.
  • Values rigour and clarity over process for its own sake.
  • Has a relevant financial qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA etc) or is working towards one.
  • Experience in a regulated environment is helpful but not essential.

Additional Information
