Position Overview
Transfer Agency Specialist, Associate 2 level, part of the UK Transfer Agency team. Responsibilities include collecting and processing data, delivering high‑quality customer service, and upholding stringent data quality standards. The role is performed in a hybrid model, predominantly in the office.
Responsibilities- Execute day‑to‑day operational tasks such as investor onboarding, deal input, register updates, investor servicing, payments, controls, and investor contact handling.
- Maintain risk awareness, assessment and control, identifying and escalating issues as required.
- Communicate relevant information up and down the line and work closely with State Street and regional Transfer Agency units.
- Act as an effective team player, building a network of contacts to ensure due care and diligence.
- Identify process efficiencies and ensure business standards and client deadlines are consistently met.
- Comply with all regulatory regimes, including AML‑KYC, Client Asset (CASS), Conduct of Business, COLL, Dispute Resolution, Data Protection, and Financial Crime Prevention.
- Adhere to procedures for all tasks and maintain high data quality.
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills – listening, oral and written.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment surrounding AML/KYC and investor onboarding.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite, especially advanced Excel.
- Experience with dealing settlements, investor servicing, and registration processes.
- Understanding of procedural, technical and product requirements within Transfer Agency business.
- Good written and verbal communication in English.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., IOC desirable) and willingness to complete required regulatory training.
- Strong organisational skills and the patience to work effectively with internal and external investors and clients.
- High detail orientation and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Team player mentality and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
