Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially aware Fund Accountant to support the financial operations and accounting activities across private markets investment structures supported by our Structuring team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate transactional and fund accounting records, supporting investment lifecycle accounting processes and ensuring timely financial reporting across a range of private market investment vehicles. This role will work closely with internal operational teams, external fund administrators, custodians, paying agents, auditors and ecosystem partners to support operational excellence and financial integrity.

The ideal candidate will have experience in fund accounting, private markets operations or alternative investment administration, with a solid understanding of fund structures, investor accounting and regulated financial environments.

Key responsibilities
  • Support the accounting and administration of private market investment structures utilising the Delio Core OS platform and other internal tooling
  • Maintain accurate accounting records for investment vehicles, including journals, accruals, cash movements and reconciliations
  • Assist with NAV calculations and periodic financial reporting processes
  • Support accounting workflows relating to subscriptions, allocations, capital calls, distributions and investment transactions
  • Perform bank, cash and investor reconciliations and investigate discrepancies where required
  • Coordinate with fund administrators, custodians, paying agents, auditors and external service providers to support reporting and audit activities
  • Assist with the preparation of investor statements and financial reporting packs
  • Ensure investment and investor records are accurately maintained across internal systems and platforms
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting controls, reporting efficiency and operational processes
  • Ensure accounting and operational activities are completed in accordance with internal procedures and service standards
Qualifications Requirements Essential
  • Experience supporting accounting processes for alternative investments, private markets or investment funds
  • Strong understanding of fund structures, investment transactions and investor servicing processes
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and reconciliation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working with digital platforms, accounting systems and workflow tools
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Proactive, adaptable and solutions-oriented mindset
Desirable
  • Familiarity with NAV calculations, capital account statements and fund financial reporting
  • Experience supporting external audits and regulatory reporting activities
  • Experience using CRM, accounting or SaaS-based operational platforms
  • Part-qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA (or working towards qualification)
