Interim D365 Systems Accountant

The Interim D365 Systems Accountant will be joining a well established team in a large organisation in South Wales.

We are supporting a large organisation in South Wales who are undergoing a finance transformation programme, implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O). They are looking for an Interim D365 Systems Accountant to bridge the gap between Finance and Technology - helping design, test, and deliver an effective finance solution.

• Act as the Systems Accountant on the D365 F&O implementation
• Support the design of finance processes within the system
• Work closely with the implementation partner / 3rd party provider
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Project teams
• Ensure the system meets finance requirements and best practice
• Support system testing (SIT/UAT) and issue resolution
• Create and review process and system documentation
• Provide input into continuous improvement and optimisation

• Strong background in finance (e.g. Systems Accountant, Finance Manager, Analyst)
• Proven experience working with D365 Finance & Operations (F&O)
• Experience supporting or delivering finance system implementations
• Strong understanding of finance processes (P2P, R2R, O2C, etc.)
• Experience with Project Accounting within D365 F&O
• Ability to liaise with both technical teams and finance stakeholders

• Experience in finance transformation programmes
• Experience working with 3rd party system integrators
• Background in large or complex organisations

• Competitive daily rate (negotiable for the right person. The role as not been declared as "Outside IR35")
