Job Description

We’re recruiting for aCustomer Payroll Reconciliation Specialist to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring our customers are paid correctly and on time, while supporting regulatory reporting and continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing:
  • Analysing data and investigating anomalies to ensure accurate customer records
  • Supporting compliance with regulatory and internal processes including GDPR, payroll legislation, and financial reporting
  • Using reconciliation knowledge to provide technical input and guidance across teams
  • Maintaining accurate records and tracking case progress using spreadsheets and internal systems
  • Participating in user testing and supporting system changes to ensure accurate payments and reporting
  • Embedding conduct risk principles to deliver good customer outcomes
  • Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer journey
  • Providing cover for reconciliation tasks during team absences to maintain service continuity
Who we're looking for:
  • Experience working with large volume pension or payroll reconciliations
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial and technical data
  • A collaborative approach and the confidence to work across teams and functions
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality outcomes
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex issues clearly
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with reconciliation tools or systems
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Knowledge of payroll processes and regulatory frameworks (desirable but not essential)
