This is a rare opportunity to join a business at a pivotal stage of its growth journey, playing a key role in supporting large-scale investment, strategic decision-making and long-term expansion plans.

Working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders, the Financial Controller will take ownership of all financial reporting, controls, compliance and commercial finance activities whilst leading a finance team.

Key Responsibilities Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including the Board, investors and project teams.

Deliver insightful financial analysis, reporting and commentary to support strategic decision-making.

Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax, regulatory and investment partnership obligations.

Own the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.

Prepare and present monthly management accounts, budget variance analysis and performance reporting.

Oversee VAT returns, supplier payments and financial controls.

Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and manage the external audit process.

Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and controls.

Develop and maintain finance policies and procedures.

Partner with the Group CFO and wider finance team on growth initiatives, M&A activity and capital raising projects.

Prepare financial submissions required under industry regulatory frameworks.

About YouACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified accountant

Experience in Construction, Energy, Infrastructure or Project environments

Strong technical accounting background

Excellent financial modelling and forecasting skills

Commercially minded with the ability to influence decision making

Strong leadership and people management experience
