Are you a qualified finance professional looking for your next challenge? Due to internal progression, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team as a Finance Business Partner
- Repairs & Maintenance. This is a full-time, permanent role (37 hours per week) with hybrid working and office bases in Cardiff, Newport or Swansea. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your expertise to influence strategic decision-making, partner with senior leaders and make a real impact across one of Wales' largest housing associations.

About the Role

We're looking for a Finance Business Partner to support our Repairs & Maintenance teams across Codi Group. This is a strategic and collaborative role where you'll work closely with senior leaders, helping them understand financial performance, plan for the future and make decisions that deliver value for our customers and communities. You'll be responsible for partnering with teams managing significant investment across our homes, ensuring financial information is accurate, meaningful and supports effective decision-making.

You'll play a key role in budget setting, forecasting, financial reporting and performance analysis, whilst leading conversations around risks, opportunities and continuous improvement. You'll also support the development of reporting tools, drive improvements in financial processes and contribute to major transformation projects across our Repairs & Maintenance service.

This role offers the opportunity to lead and develop a small team, build strong relationships with colleagues across the business and influence decisions at a senior level. If you enjoy combining strong financial expertise with relationship building, problem solving and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.

Skills and Experience Needed

We're looking for someone with significant management accounting experience and a recognised accountancy qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CIPFA. You'll be comfortable managing and analysing large budgets, interpreting complex financial information and presenting clear recommendations to a range of audiences, including senior leaders.

You'll have experience leading and developing teams, managing competing priorities and working to deadlines without losing attention to detail. Strong Excel and analytical skills are important, along with the ability to identify trends, understand financial risks and spot opportunities for improvement.

We're looking for someone who communicates confidently, builds positive working relationships and can support colleagues with varying levels of financial knowledge. You'll be comfortable constructively challenging thinking, welcoming challenge from others and helping teams find practical solutions.

Experience of contract, project or programme management within a social housing environment would be valuable, as would an understanding of repairs and maintenance financial reporting.

Above all, you'll share our commitment to delivering excellent services, putting customers first and living our values of being Compassionate, Authentic and Progressive.
