Reconciliation Officer

Salary:
Up to £28,000 + benefits
Hybrid working: 2 days per week in the office

Yolk Recruitment is exclusively partnered with a global insurance business to recruit a Reconciliation Officer to join its finance team.

This is a predominantly reconciliation-focused role within a wider finance function. It would suit someone who has worked within a traditional finance administration or reconciliation position and is looking to develop their experience within a global organisation.

• Completing bank and account reconciliations
• Using Excel extensively to complete and support reconciliations
• Investigating and resolving reconciliation discrepancies
• Loading and processing journals
• Raising and processing payments
• Allocating credits to customer accounts
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Processing day-to-day financial transactions
• Working closely with colleagues across the wider finance team
• Supporting with wider finance administration as required

• Previous experience within a finance administration or reconciliation role
• Strong Excel reconciliation experience is essential
• Experience reconciling bank or financial accounts
• Good understanding of transactional finance
• Experience processing journals and payments would be beneficial
• Insurance or financial services experience would be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Able to work independently while contributing to a wider finance team
