A fantastic opportunity has arisen in the form of a band 3 Healthcare Assistant Activity worker at David Bromley House Knowle to work on our friendly mixed in-patient complex care unit who experience mental health issues.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen in the form of a band 3 Healthcare Assistant at David Bromley House Knowle to work on our friendly mixed in-patient complex care unit who experience mental health issues.
Responsibilities- Carry out a range of practical tasks with patients, often on a 1 to 1 basis, under the supervision of qualified staff and the occupational therapist.
- Deliver clinical care to service users and support the work of the nursing and medical team.
- Support our qualified staff in the delivery of patient-centred care and to improve patient experience.
- Work on a part-time basis with the requirement to cover days, nights and unsociable hours.
- Initially be based on David Bromley House, Knowle, Solihull. The unit is 15 beds with severe and enduring mental health problems and physical health needs requiring a slow-stream rehabilitation.
- Relevant experience in delivering care in mental health settings.
- Ability to work with minimal additional supervision and training.
- Good communication and team-working skills.
