Location: Cardiff, NSW
Employment Type: Full-time / Part‑time / Flexible

Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Paediatric Speech Pathologist who’s committed to empowering children and families to reach their full potential? Do you have a genuine passion for combining clinical excellence with creativity, working in a space where therapy is as joyful as it is meaningful? If so, we have an exciting opportunity that awaits you!

For over a decade, Happy Dots Therapy Services for Children has been a leading provider of paediatric Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology services in the Newcastle region. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to grow, connect, and thrive through personalised, evidence‑based interventions delivered in a fun, play‑based environment.

Our culture is warm, collaborative, and inclusive. We’re passionate about empowering our team just as much as our clients – providing structured career pathways, clinical mentorship, leadership opportunities, and the flexibility to design a role that supports your professional goals.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll work with a diverse paediatric caseload (0–18 years) across clinic, community, and school‑based environments. You’ll use your clinical expertise to deliver high‑quality, play‑based therapy services to children, fostering their independence, and empowering them to overcome obstacles. You will assess, plan, and implement individualised treatment plans, collaborating closely with families and their care team to achieve holistic progress and lasting results.

This is an opportunity to step into a role where your experience is valued, respected, and nurtured.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for children with a range of developmental and neurodiverse presentations.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised therapy plans that are goal‑driven, evidence‑based, and family‑centred.
  • Collaborate closely with allied health professionals, educators, and families to ensure integrated care and consistent progress.
  • Provide parent and caregiver coaching to embed communication strategies into daily routines.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation aligned with NDIS and professional practice standards.
  • Contribute to team learning through case discussions, supervision, and peer mentoring.
  • Support ongoing service development and innovation within the clinic.
