We are supporting a well-regarded 30-bedded residential home in Cardiff that is looking to recruit a passionate and creative Activities Coordinator to join their friendly team.

Part-Time – 22.5 hours per week (10:00am – 4:00pm)

Pay:
From £12.71 per hour, rising to £13.00 per hour after successful completion of probation

Requirement:
Alternative weekends required

Residential Home – Elderly Care

About the Role

As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a varied programme of engaging, person-centred activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities.

You will play a key role in promoting social interaction, emotional wellbeing, and a positive daily experience for residents within a warm and supportive care environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan, organise, and deliver daily activities for residents

* Encourage participation and build meaningful relationships with residents

* Adapt activities to suit individual needs and preferences

* Work closely with care staff and management to support residents' wellbeing

* Organise group events, celebrations, and one-to-one activities

* Maintain records of activities and resident engagement

Requirements

* Previous experience as an Activities Coordinator or in a similar role is desirable

* A genuine passion for working with older people

* Creative, enthusiastic, and patient approach

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

* Willingness to work alternative weekends
