Complex Care Carer

Location:

Barnet
Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour

Shift Pattern:
Days: 08:00 – 20:00
Nights: 20:00 – 08:00

Complex Care Carer Required!
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Complex Care Carer to support a delightful 5-year-old child in her family home.
Our client lives with her parents and two siblings and enjoys singing, music, and engaging with those around her. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide meaningful one-to-one support and make a real difference to a young child’s quality of life.

About the Role
As a Complex Care Carer, you will provide person-centred care tailored to the client’s individual needs, ensuring her safety, comfort, and wellbeing.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting a young child with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy
  • Monitoring and responding appropriately to seizure activity
  • Assisting with personal care and daily living activities including school runs
  • Providing safe moving and handling support using appropriate equipment and techniques
  • Encouraging participation in activities she enjoys, including singing and play-based interactions
  • Building a positive relationship with the client and her family
  • Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns
Essential Requirements
  • Experience supporting individuals with Cerebral Palsy
  • Experience supporting individuals with Epilepsy
  • Competent in Moving and Handling
  • Full UK driving licence and confident driver
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Caring, reliable, and patient nature

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in supporting complex care clients
  • Full Right to Work in the UK without the need for sponsorship
  • Driver License and willing to drive client's mobility care
  • Experience supporting individuals with Cerebral Palsy
