Support Worker/Personal Assistant–Hawick

A lady living in Hawickis looking for a kind, reliable, and enthusiastic Personal Assistant toassisther whilst her current PA goes on a maternity cover basis, with a planned start date of late October.

I am an older lady who lives in Hawick and I live independently with some support from my family.

I am losing my sight and have onlyvery limited vision so this can cause problems, particularly when cooking meals.

I am looking from someone to help me prepare my dinner in the evening, by supporting me to make a meal of my choosing and ensure I am not at risk of burning myself orunder-preparing the food.

• Hours of work:
  3.50 per week
• £14.05per hour.
• Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
• Probationary period of6months
• Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership

• Encourage and support me to prepare an evening meal;
• Supervision to ensure I am safe and not at risk from scalds or accidents;
• Assistme to plate up my meal whenproperlycookedandtidy up any utensils/pots etc before leaving me to eat my meal.
