Senior Occupational Therapist - Band 6
Full time position
We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Occupational Therapist to work within the Adult Integrated Therapy Service .The post holder will provide a specialist occupational therapy service to clients living in their own home or a residential care setting for complex cases, formulating and implementing intervention plans aimed at reducing the impact of disability and ill health.
his role is Monday to Friday, with some weekend working covering the Bromley Borough.

Main duties of the jobAs an autonomous practitioner, you will be responsible for enabling the client to achieve and maintain a level of independent functioning in order to remain at home or the most appropriate alternative community setting.
You will be required to:
Apply a high level of understanding of the effect of disability and provide training and advice on lifestyle changes and adaptations to the clients’ social and physical environment.
To identify and develop own area of specialism and expertise, and contribute to the resource base within the Occupational Therapy Service and other professional groups.
