About the Role

IOS Care are currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Agency Care Assistants to support nursing and residential homes for vulnerable adults across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.

This role is ideal for care professionals seeking flexible working hours, varied placements, and the opportunity to make a genuine difference in people’s lives.

Key Responsibilities

* Providing high-quality personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting

* Supporting residents with mobility and daily living activities

* Promoting dignity, independence and emotional wellbeing

* Assisting with meals and hydration

* Accurately recording care provided and reporting concerns

* Working in line with care plans, safeguarding policies and CIW standards

Requirements

* Minimum 6 months’ experience as a Care Assistant (UK-based preferred)

* A caring, patient and professional approach

* Ability to work in nursing and residential care settings

* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

* Up-to-date mandatory training (or willingness to complete)

* Right to work in the UK
