Relief Support Worker - Blantyre

Relief Support Workers provide a highly valued source of support across our services, helping to cover short or long term planned and unplanned absences. As a member of our relief pool, you’ll play a key role in supporting people with complex needs to live independently in their own homes, or to attend their activities and stay connected to their communities.

As a Relief Support Worker, you can share your availability and preferences in advance so managers can plan effectively and match your strengths, skills and interests. You can also let us know if you’re available at short notice—every hour of support makes a meaningful difference. Whatever your availability, your contribution matters.

Based in Blantyre, our service supports individuals to live as independently as possible while achieving their personal goals and enjoying meaningful lives within their local community.

As a Relief Support Practitioner, you'll enjoy the flexibility of working shifts that fit around your availability while making a real difference to the people we support. Relief colleagues are offered shifts based on service needs, which may include:

• Morning shifts: 7:30am – 3:00pm
  Afternoon shifts: 2:30pm – 10:00pm
• Waking night shifts: 9:45pm – 7:45am
• Sleepover shifts:
  Available as required and paid at your normal hourly rate
