We’re looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our warm and welcoming Oakfield service in Cardiff
, supporting children with learning disabilities, autism, and emotional or mental health needs.

In this rewarding Support Worker role, you will:

• Promote emotional, physical and social wellbeing through consistent, caring support
• Build strong, trusting relationships so every child feels safe and understood
• Provide personal care where required, always with dignity and respect
• Encourage independence and support the development of social and life skills
• Support education, home activities and community engagement
• Work closely with colleagues and professionals to deliver person-centred care
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Help with everyday household tasks including cooking, cleaning and meal preparation

You don’t need previous care experience — we’re looking for the right values. A great Support Worker will have:

• A caring, patient and resilient approach
• Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
• Flexibility to work days, evenings and weekends on a rota
• A full UK driving licence (essential)
• A willingness to learn — full training is provided

This Support Worker role involves regulated activity with children and requires an Enhanced DBS with children’s barred list check.
