Spire Healthcare, Cardiff | Pontprennau | Cardiac Physiologist | Outpatients | Spire Cardiff Hospital | Permanent | Part Time (15 Hours)

At Spire Cardiff Hospital, our Cardiology service plays a vital role in helping patients receive fast, accurate diagnoses and access the treatment they need. We're looking for an experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join our Outpatients team, supporting consultant-led cardiology clinics through the delivery and analysis of a wide range of non-invasive cardiac investigations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a physiologist with strong experience in ECGs, ambulatory monitoring, ETTs and cardiac rhythm analysis who enjoys patient-facing diagnostics and wants to be part of a supportive, high-performing clinical team. Working closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary colleagues, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact on patient care while enjoying the flexibility of a part-time role.

About the Role

As a Cardiac Physiologist, you will support our busy outpatient cardiology service, providing high-quality diagnostic investigations that help inform clinical decision-making and treatment planning.

The role is focused on non-invasive cardiac diagnostics and would particularly suit a physiologist who is confident working autonomously across ECGs, ambulatory monitoring, Exercise Tolerance Tests (ETTs), Zio Patch monitoring and diagnostic reporting.

You'll be joining an established Cardiology team with access to modern equipment, experienced consultants and a collaborative clinical environment where quality, safety and patient experience are at the heart of everything we do.

Conduct Exercise Tolerance Tests (ETTs).

Support the use and analysis of Zio Patch monitoring.
Produce accurate and timely diagnostic reports for consultant review.
Assess patients' health and wellbeing throughout the diagnostic pathway.
Ensure high standards of patient care, safety and clinical governance.
Contribute to service development and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
