Senior Payroll Administrator - Cardiff

We are seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator to join our team in Cardiff. This role involves managing end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and supporting junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to maintain employee data and deliver excellent service.
  • Manage payroll processing, RTI filing, pension uploads, and report generation.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and legislation.
  • Prepare month-end journals and reports for audit and financial purposes.
  • Oversee CIS submissions.
  • Train and supervise junior payroll staff.
    • Key Requirements
  • Experience managing payroll for multiple clients, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Ability to produce accurate payroll reports and documents.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex payroll concepts clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail and efficiency.
    • Additional Requirements
  • Knowledge of HMRC legislation and pension auto-enrolment.
  • Understanding of data protection laws related to payroll.
  • Proficiency in payroll software; familiarity with Bright Pay is desirable.
