We're looking for an experienced and proactive Senior HR Advisor to join our People and Culture Team. This is a new and exciting opportunity for a confident HR professional who has a passion for employee relations. This is an opportunity for a HR generalist with significant employee relations expertise who enjoys coaching managers, influencing best practice, and driving continuous improvement across an organisation.

What you’ll do- Act as the lead point of contact and subject matter expert for all Employee Relations matters across the organisation.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on complex employee relations cases.
- Manage the allocation and progression of ER cases across the HR team and managers, ensuring appropriate resources are in place and timely resolution.
- Coach and support managers through disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management and other complex employee relations processes.
- Upskill and develop managers to confidently manage and prioritise ER processes.
- Ensure HR policies are applied consistently, fairly and in line with employment legislation and best practice.
- Review, update and develop HR policies and procedures to reflect legislative changes and organisational needs.
- Produce and present regular Employee Relations reports, analysing trends and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Provide day-to-day leadership across the HR Advisory and Administration team, ensuring an effective and responsive HR service.
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical HR knowledge with excellent relationship-building skills. You'll be confident advising senior stakeholders, managing complex situations and influencing positive outcomes.
Essential- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in a senior HR Advisory or Employee Relations role.
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation.
- Experience producing HR reports and analysing workforce data.
- Experience advising and coaching managers at all levels.
- Experience reviewing and developing HR policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative approach with a passion for continuous improvement.
- CIPD Level 7 qualification.
- Experience with in health, social care or a regulated environment.
- Experience leading HR projects and supporting organisational change.
- Full valid driving licence and access to a vehicle - there will be a requirement to travel throughout Wales to other Cartrefi Cymru offices, therefore, the use of a car with appropriate business insurance will be required.
