Overview

Job Vacancy:
Network Engineer (CCTV & PTS Certified)

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong CCTV systems knowledge and valid PTS certification to join our team.

Responsibilities

Installation, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure
CCTV system installation, integration, and fault finding
Ensuring network security, reliability, and performance
Working safely in rail/trackside or PTS-required environments
Working away from home as required (including overnight stays)
Night work as required, including planned and reactive works
Providing technical support and troubleshooting on site

Requirements

Proven experience as a Network Engineer
Strong IP networking knowledge (switches, routers, VLANs, firewalls)
Hands-on experience with CCTV systems (IP & analogue)
Valid PTS certification (mandatory)
Willingness to work away and undertake night shifts
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence (preferred)

Desirable

Rail or infrastructure project experience
Relevant networking certifications (Cisco, CompTIA, etc.)
Supervisor with SSSTS
