Aboutthe Role
- You will join our expanding Buildings Technology Services team as an Associate or Associate Director, leading technical projects from inception to handover.
- Provide expertise in Smart, ICT, and AV design, with a focus on smart building integration & system architecture.
- Lead from concept through detailed design, managing technology and systems integration activities on multidisciplinary projects.
- Collaborate with specialists across WSP to develop comprehensive smart building solutions.
- Engage with wider teams to advocate for and achieve innovative smart building outcomes.
- Create buildings that deliver excellent user experiences through innovative technologies.
- Work on diverse projects including high-rise towers, data centers, stadia, and healthcare facilities.
- Help set standards in Building Technology consultancy, providing ICT and Smart solutions.
- Experience in managing medium to large smart building projects.
- Skills in project management, technical delivery, and staff development.
- Knowledge of building systems like MEP, BMS, fire safety, lighting, security, and ICT infrastructure.
- Industry-leading knowledge of digital and physical building technologies and trends.
- Ability to produce and interpret technical documents and specifications.
- Chartered status or working towards it (CIBSE/Engineering Council).
