3rd Line Service Desk Engineer

Overview

Our client are seeking an experienced 3rd Line Service Desk Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and managing the infrastructure and security requirements for customers; handling a variety of complex issues, ensuring system availability, maintaining security standards across various platforms, and providing detailed reporting on all aspects of the Managed Service.

Working at Cardiff Head Office

Shifts run across 24/7 - 365 days. All evening and night shifts are worked from home.

• Microsoft Infrastructure: Maintain and support Entra , Azure, VMs, and hosted services. Ensure compliance with Cyber Essentials through timely patching and monitoring.
• Endpoint Management: Oversee MDM/Intune, Apple Business Manager, and Manage Engine. Manage Autopilot deployments and enforce security baselines.
• Automation: Develop Power Shell scripts to streamline operations and boost efficiency.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Ensure smooth backup operations, conduct regular recovery tests, and manage incident response.
