SAP Plant Maintenance

Overview

Serve as a highly specialized SAP PM/MRO Consultant to advise, configure, and maintain enterprise asset management systems, primarily focusing on aviation engine manufacturing and maintenance.

• Lead the digital transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4
  
  HANA, ensuring full delivery of implementation outcomes across engineering, maintenance, and design operations.
• Act as a strategic functional advisor to senior leadership, translating aviation business requirements into SAP S/4
  
  HANA asset management solutions and blueprints.
• Design and implement transition strategies, including workaround solutions, data bridging, and legacy customization analysis during phased SAP migrations.
• Execute advanced configuration of SAP PM/EAM modules (Technical Objects, Functional Locations, Equipment Master Data, Work Centers) and facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops.
• Architect and configure end-to-end maintenance processes, including orders, notifications, preventive plans, and complex asset hierarchies (Equipment BOMs, Functional Location BOMs).
• Integrate SAP PM with other SAP modules (MM, PP, QM) and third-party enterprise systems (PLM, CAD, MES).
• Optimize and configure MRO subcontracting and refurbishment processes for engine repairs, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations (CAA, EASA, FAA, ITAR, AS9100).
• Establish robust traceability for engine components using serialization, batch management, and equipment history tracking.
• Enforce SAP Clean Core standards, utilizing standard features, Fiori apps, and APIs to minimize custom development.
• Advise on modern asset technologies, predictive maintenance, and mobile work execution (SAP Asset Manager).
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, data migration leads, and external partners on data standards and cutover planning.
• Author and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business blueprints, configuration rationales, test scripts, and training materials.

• Bring at least 10 years of SAP PM/EAM consulting experience, with deep expertise in Aerospace MRO processes and a proven record of leading SAP ECC to S/4
  
  HANA migrations.
• Operate within Agile and SAP Activate frameworks, and ideally hold SAP S/4
  
  HANA Asset Management certification and experience with reliability methodologies (RCM, FMEA).
