What You’ll DoAs a Technical Specialist within our Fixed Data Services (FDS) team, you’ll deliver and support customer connectivity solutions across Vodafone Three’s MSP, ITN and legacy MPLS networks. You’ll be responsible for remote configuration, commissioning, validation and ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities- Configure, commission and validate customer connectivity solutions across MSP, ITN and legacy MPLS networks.
- Provision and maintain core IP and data products, including operations such as Layer 1, 2 and 3 testing.
- Provide customer reporting and maintain accuracy of network inventory, databases and operational records.
- Collaborate with Technical Specialists and operational teams to drive quality and consistency through local work instructions, knowledge sharing and technical coaching.
- Provide technical expertise for complex customer solutions and support the introduction of new products, technologies and processes.
- Maintain flexibility to support wider operational priorities as required.
- Extensive telecommunications experience with a strong background in IP and data networking.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VPNs and transmission technologies.
- Experience working with MPLS networks and Quality of Service (QoS) in a service provider environment.
- Knowledge of network provisioning, management and inventory systems.
- Experience configuring and supporting multi‑vendor network and firewall technologies.
