Senior Platform Engineer; Azure

Want to take real ownership of an Azure environment rather than spend your time maintaining someone else's decisions?

We're looking for a Senior Azure Platform Engineer to join an organisation going through a significant technology transformation, moving towards a predominantly cloud-native environment built around Azure and the wider Microsoft ecosystem.

This is a genuinely hands-on senior engineering role where you'll have the opportunity to shape the Azure platform, influence technical decisions and lead projects, with plenty of scope to improve automation, Infrastructure as Code and engineering standards.

You'll also get exposure to Microsoft Fabric and modern data platforms as they become an increasingly important part of the organisation's technology estate.

What you'll be doing

• Taking ownership of engineering across a growing Microsoft Azure estate
• Designing and improving Azure infrastructure, networking, identity and security
• Driving greater adoption of Infrastructure as Code and automation
• Working with Terraform and/or Bicep, Power Shell, Azure CLI, Git and CI/CD
• Implementing Azure governance, monitoring and security controls
