Location:Cardiff & Pentwyn Warehouses
Schedule:Monday to Friday, 5 days/week
Contract Length:3 months (with possible extension)
Rate:£110–£120/day
Start Date:ASAP
We are seeking an experienced
Network Engineer
for across our Cardiff and Pentwyn warehouse locations. This role is ideal for someone local to the area or able to reliably commute.
General duties of the this role include but are not limited to:
- Installation of servers, switches, firewall and hard drive installation.
- Patching network and server cable management.
- Auditing client environments.
- Executing WiFi surveys.
- Setting up new users, desktop PC’s, laptops and printers.
- Secure disposal of IT equipment which is no longer required.
- Travel within Greater London.
- Previous exposure to hardware/server installs would be beneficial.
- Any IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, N+ would be of interest
- A passion for IT and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook with clear communication skills.
- Can handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
- Able to work hours with variable start and finish times.
