Project Manager IT & Data Infrastructure Rollouts

Ready to take the next step in your project career? A long-established IT support provider working with major UK retail and hospitality brands is looking for a Project Manager to help deliver IT and structured cabling rollouts across multiple sites nationwide.

This role suits an experienced Project Manager, but it's also a real opportunity for someone ready to step up. That could be a Project Coordinator, a Rollout or Deployment Coordinator, or a technically strong cabling supervisor or lead engineer who wants to move into project management. You'll be joining a business that is investing in its project function, under a recently strengthened leadership team.

• Planning and delivering IT and data infrastructure rollouts across multiple sites, from pilot through to completion
• Building and maintaining plans, schedules, trackers and progress reports
• Coordinating field engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, materials and logistics
• Making sure each site is ready, with access, equipment and engineers in place
• Overseeing structured cabling installations (Cat6/Cat6A and containment) to the agreed design and quality standards
• Acting as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers and internal teams
• Managing risks, issues, budgets, change and handover documentation

• Experience coordinating or managing multi-site IT, infrastructure or installation projects, or a strong technical background in structured cabling and the drive to move into project management
• A practical understanding of structured cabling, including Cat6/Cat6A, containment, testing and quality assurance
• Confidence with MS Project, Excel, Smartsheet or similar tools
• Strong organisation, with the ability to juggle multiple work streams and priorities
• Clear, confident communication with customers, engineers and senior stakeholders

• PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner
• ITIL Foundation
• Experience of rollouts in retail or other multi-site operational environments
