Associate Solicitor - Court of Protection (Finance) - 4-8 PQE - Cardiff
A well established national Top 100 firm is looking to appoint an Associate to its dedicated Court of Protection team. The position focuses solely on property and financial affairs for clients who lack capacity, offering the chance to build a long term, consistent caseload within a highly organised and progressive department.
The OpportunityYou will take responsibility for a varied COP finance caseload, involving:
- Managing financial and property matters for individuals without capacity
- Working closely with families, deputies and professional representatives
- Developing long standing client relationships built on trust and continuity
- Ensuring all financial decisions meet legal requirements and best interests principles
This is a specialist COP finance role with no mixed workload. Candidates from a Private Client background will be considered where there is a genuine commitment to moving fully into COP work.
