Job Title: Solicitor/Associate - Private Wealth Disputes
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid Working)
Salary: Competitive
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Solicitor or Associate (1+ years PQE) to join a top‑ranked Private Wealth Disputes team. The team is recognised for its expertise in all areas of private wealth disputes, including will disputes, Inheritance Act claims, onshore and offshore trust disputes, equitable claims and Court of Protection disputes. They represent a diverse range of clients, including individuals, professional executors, trust corporations, charities and financial institutions.
As part of this dynamic team, the successful candidate will handle a variety of contentious trust and probate matters. They will also have the opportunity to supervise junior lawyers and play a role in the department’s growth strategy alongside the head of the team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a diverse caseload of contested wills, trusts and estate matters.
- Supervise and support junior lawyers in the team.
- Contribute to business development and support the growth strategy of the department.
- Work independently while collaborating effectively within a supportive team environment.
- A proven track record in business development and excellent organisational skills.
- The ability to manage cases independently and support junior colleagues.
- A collaborative approach to work, thriving in a collegiate environment.
- ACTAPS and, ideally, STEP diplomas (or a willingness to obtain them).
