Consultant Solicitor

Adlington Law is expanding, and we’re looking for exceptional Solicitors and CILEX professionals to join our growing team in a consultant capacity.

Type: Consultant / Flexible Hours

As a Consultant Solicitor / CILEX Professional, you will:

• Attend clients in their homes to deliver legal advice prepared by our internal legal team
• Assess mental capacity and ensure absence of duress
• Witness and oversee the signing of legal documents
• Provide reassurance, clarity, and a supportive presence to clients
• Manage your own diary — work within or outside the traditional 9–5

This role is client-facing, highly personable, and truly rewarding, especially for those who enjoy building relationships and providing a calm, confident service at key moments.

This opportunity is perfect for individuals who:

• Prefer flexibility and control over their working hours
• Enjoy working independently while being supported by a specialist internal team
• Are confident conducting home visits and engaging with clients face‑to‑face
• Have experience in private client work (Wills, LPAs, probate, Court of Protection—advantageous but not essential)
• Hold a valid practising certificate as a Solicitor or are a qualified CILEX Fellow
